Dr.
Bonnie L. Bauer Dr. Bauer did
her undergraduate studies at St. Ambrose and Marycrest Colleges and then graduated
Magnum Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1988. Dr. Bauer
and her husband, David, have been married over 30 years and have four sons,
two daughters-in-law, four grandchildren, and varying numbers and kinds of
critters. Originally from western Iowa, they presently live south of
Maquoketa on an acreage. Always active in church, school, and community
projects they presently enjoy the peace and quiet of an empty nest. Dr.
Bonnie is an avid reader of murder mysteries, and also enjoys riding &
training her horses, construction projects such as the new Anamosa office,
fishing with the grandchildren and travel.
Dr. Bauer is a
specialist in the Activator method of Adjusting having earned an Advanced
Proficiency Rating in the technique in 1988 and continues through
post-graduate studies to keep it up to date. The Activator Method is a
low-force technique that many patients prefer. Other areas of post-graduate
studies include, Clinical Management of Whiplash Injuries, Sports Injuries
Assessment and Rehabilitation, Management of Extremity Injuries,
Acupuncture-- receiving her certificate as Fellow of Acupuncture Society of
America in 1999, Clinical management of lumbar discs, Carpal Tunnel, Pain,
and Geriatric Studies.

Melody
Melody joined Midland Chiropractic Clinic
in January, 2003. She oversees the office operations of both
Midland Chiropractic Clinics. She has a daughter who lives in
Cheyenne, Wyoming and a son who lives in Denver, Colorado. She
has one, 4 year old granddaughter, Pele. In her spare time she takes care of
her 2 salt water aquariums and spends time with her best friend, a Toy
Pomeranian named TrickyWoo.
